Get Rid of Extra Cholesterol
Cholesterol control has become a major issue these days. So many medicines are used to get rid of extra cholesterol. But controlling cholesterol can be easily done by having the right diet. Dieting does not necessarily mean that you have to give up all your favorite delicious foods and eat boring tasteless foods. Dieting suggests having all sorts of food but at a right quantity.
If we observe carefully we will see there are some foods that we consume every day. Those are fruits and vegetables, cereals, rice, beans, bread, pasta, meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, fats and sugar.
Now let’s see, how much of which food we should take to keep ourselves healthy.
We should take at least 4portions of fibers every day. Fruits and vegetables contain fibers and are helpful for our health. Eat plenty of cereals and fish. Eat foods like rice, potatoes and breads if you are a sportsman as these are the source of energy. Try to avoid consuming excess egg, milk, fat or sugar as they increase unnecessary body fats. Avoid eating them would cut down the cholesterol level in your body.
Try to control eating meats cooked with a lot of fat. Use boiling method instead of frying method when it comes to cooking meats. If it’s needed to be fried use olive or corn oil and pill off the skin before frying.
As I told before eat as much fibers as you can. It helps to reduce blood cholesterol. Foods like fruits, beans, cereals oats buckwheat have fibers and can be taken as breakfast of snacks.
Fruits and vegetables are also sources of antioxidants which are considered to be a cholesterol controller. Antioxidants are also found in nuts, soya beans and seeds and in some organic foods.
Following the above mentioned diet would definitely reduce the cholesterol in your body and give you the chance to live a healthy and disease free life.
